Director of Assessment Services

Dr. Sharon Swanson, Director of Assessment Services, began with Deer Oaks as a post-doctoral resident in 2000. She obtained her Psy.D. from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 1999. Sharon is a licensed psychologist and currently holds licensure in the states of Missouri and Texas. Over the years, she was promoted to clinical manager of San Antonio and then Regional Manager of Houston and San Antonio. Due to the tremendous amount of testing related experience, Dr. Swanson was promoted Director of Assessment Services. In this role, she oversees all testing related training for new and existing clinical staff, monitors testing related services, and provides employee coaching and mentorship. Recently, she took on additional responsibilities with the management of our Houston service location.
