Director of Med Management Services

Deborah Theis, PhD, is a Licensed Psychologist with over 17 years of experience working in the long term care industry. Deborah obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling psychology from Texas A&M University in 1995. In her role as Director of Medication Management Services, Dr. Theis is responsible for overseeing the operations of Deer Oaks’ partnership with Med Management Associates, Inc., which provides psychiatric services to long term care facilities. As a Certified Compliance Officer, she is responsible for ensuring Med Management Associates meets all applicable state and federal guidelines and laws. She has extensive experience managing comprehensive psychiatric and psychological services provided to long term care facilities to manage their behavioral health needs.
